With nearly 20 years in the Landscape construction field, and servicing the Quinte Region since 2012, Harpers Hardscaping has always focused on quality craftsmanship and making sure our clients are happy with the end result over anything else. We specialize in Interlock and Natural Stone but we are a multi faceted company with a wide range of services that we provide. We love what we do and put everything into our work. Our Story
After relocating to the Toronto area in 2007, Chris began working in Markham ON. for Sunburst Landscaping.
Whereas many careers in this field begin with property maintenance, Chris started right out of the gates with Hardscaping, interlocking brick and landscape construction.
After spending 5 years learning the trade Chris relocated to the Quinte region to set up roots and start his own Business in 2012.
Chris took a few positions over the years with some very reputable companies with lead foreman titles to continue to build his skill, learn the business and network throughout the area.
In between working with some great companies in Belleville and Price Edward County, Chris continued to build his clientele and grow the business by working evenings and weekends for several years.
Over time as Chris continued to build solid relationships in the community. Over time Chris was able to flesh out his team to move forward with the business.

Recently Chris was able to rebrand the company and make a push to expand and reach new heights.

Renaming the Business Harpers Hardscaping was an idea that really felt right for a few reasons. First off naming it after his daughter Harper, the driving force behind Chris's work ethic and who he continues to set an example for. And secondly to show some to LOVE to the word “Hardscape”
Too often landscapers get slumped off and disregarded in the trades. Hardscaping has been getting more and more appreciation and recognition as a true Blue trade. Being the only company in the area with Hardscape in their name couldn’t be more perfect.
Chris and his team continue to push the envelope with unique and inspiring designs. They’re always looking for the finite details in each project to set them apart and have their work speak for itself.

Building relationships with our clients is key for us. We love what we do and we always hope to convey that with our clients immediately. We continue to focus on making our clients feel comfortable. We maintain an open dialogue about our builds, the design, the project progress, options and what our intentions are thoughout the project.
Our intention is to reply to each and every inquiry about your landscape needs. Big or small we will at the bare minimum reply back and do our best to help you out. If your project isn’t in our scope of work or doesn’t fit either our time line or yours, we work alongside several excellent and reputable companies in the area and we are more than willing to assist in find the right landscape contractor for all your needs.
We can’t help but be passionate about what we do, we realize landscaping isnt typically viewed as the cheapest option to add value to your home. We do our best to make it feasible for our clients to be able to have a beautiful project completed for their home or property. If you have a specific budget you are looking to stay within let us know and we can work around that.
